Athena 8, Brockport 0 Brian Dupra pitched 6 scoreless innings allowing only 3 hits, strikiing out 9 and walking none. Chase Grissom hit a two run homerun in the 4th for the Trojans.
Athena 10, Niagara Falls 0 Sean Meritt and Brandon Wroblewski combine to throw a one hitter. Bryan Carmody was 2 for 3 and scored 3 runs for Athena
Athena 16, Olympia 2 The Trojans banged out 15 hits, led by Brian Dupra who had 4 hits and 4 rbi's. Albert Gleichauf went 3 for 4 and scored two runs. Brandon Wroblewski got things started in the first with a Grand Slam. He followed it up in the third with a double off the fence and finished the day with 4 rbi's. Sean Meritt pitched a complete game, allowing 3 hits, 2 walks, and striking out 6.
Athena 2, Hilton 1 ![]() David Russell is mobbed by teammates after he drove in the winning run in the top of the seventh with a sac fly Brian Dupra threw a complete game 5 hitter, striking out 12 Cadets. Rob Zappia singled and scored in the first on a Dupra two out single. Dan Higgins doubled off the wall in the top of the 7th and Andrew DiPasquale, who ran for Higgins, scored on a David Russell sac fly to put Athena ahead 2-1. Dupra came in to retire the side in order in the 7th.
Athena 9, Fairport 0 Brian Dupra threw 6 innings, struck out 11, gave up 5 hits, and walked 2. Rob Zappia and Joe Pavone both had 3 hits. Sean Meritt threw a scoreless 7th.
Athena 14, Arcadia 5 Athena 8, Spencerport 1 Athena 4, Hilton 0 ![]() With runners on first and third and one out in a scoreless game, Cadet baserunner is thrown out on the tail end of a strike-em-out throw-em-out double play Winning pitcher Chase Grissom turned in a gritty performance pitching in and out of trouble for 6 2/3 innings stranding six Cadet baserunners and striking out seven. Brian Dupra earned the save striking out the last batter on three pitches. Athena scored four times in the fifth inning. Brandon Wroblewski's single and Gleichauf's RBI double was followed by a sac bunt by Russell and sac fly by Zappia. With two out and two runs home, Anthony Wind's single, Joe Pavone's RBI double and Brian Dupra's RBI single scored two more runs. PicasaWebAlbum

Athena 6, Northwood Academy 3 Sean Meritt came in in the 5th with the tying and winning runs on base and no outs and got out of the jam. He pitched the final 3 innings without allowing a run. Brandon Wroblewski earned the win pitching the first 4.
Athena 3, Thomas 0 Brian Dupra pitched a complete game 5 hitter with 8 K's and 1 walk. Bryan Carmody, Joe Pavone, and Rob Zappia all went 2 for 3. Albert Gleichauf's sac fly scored the first run in the bottom of the 4th.
Athena 13, Irondequoit 4 Rob Zappia, Joe Pavone, and Brian Dupra all had three hits as the Trojans had 19 hits. Dupra had another 4 rbi day and Pavone had a double, triple and 3 runs scored. AJ Jenkins pitched 5 solid innings, allowing only 3 hits, walking 5, and striking out 5.
Athena 10, Spencerport 4 Athena 7, Thomas 0 Chase Grissom pitched 6 innings, gave up 2 hits, 2 walks, and struck out 5. Grissom also went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. AJ Jenkins pitched a scoreless 7th. Joe Pavone, Brian Dupra and Dan Higgins all had rbi's in the 1st inning to give Athena the lead.

Brian Dupra pitched five innings striking out nine and allowing three hits. Right fielder Brandon Wroblewski was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored and Anthony Wind finished 2-for-4.
North Rockland 2, Athena 1 ![]() Trojans discuss strategy in fifth inning North Rockland scored one run in each of the sixth and seventh innings to edge out Athena in state semifinal game.

Bishop England 8, Athena 7 After being ahead 5-1 and 7-3, the trojans gave up 5 unanswered runs. Anthony Wind led the offense with 3 rbi's.
Victor 9, Athena 3 Athena had only 4 hits. Bryan Carmody led the team going 2 for 3
Athena 4, Arcadia 2 Brandon Wroblewski pitched 6+ innings and gave up 6 hits, struck out 3 and walked 2. Brian Dupra came in with a runner on first to earn the save in the 7th. Rob Zappia walked and scored in the first on Dupra's sacrifice. Joe Pavone was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, Dupra doubled, and they both scored on a single by Wroblewski. Zappia later tripled and scored in the fourth.
Athena 15, Irondequoit 6 Athena 14, Olympia 5 Athena 17, Hilton 3 Athena 11, Brockport 2 ![]() Dan Higgins makes a running catch of a pop foul for the last out of the game Third baseman Albert Gleichauf was 3-for-4 with two triples and four RBI and Dan Higgins finished 4-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored. Brian Dupra pitched five innings striking out five and allowing three hits.
