The Mod B boys baseball team wrapped their season up with a 2-0 win against Brockport. Alex Spitale pitched a 2 hitter and knocked in a run. Max Denora had three hits. Congratulations to all 20 boys for a FUN-demental season. Make sure all you guys are in camps this summer. Final record 10-1-1

Athena 24, Churchville 3 5/22/08

Max Denora pitched a shut out through 5 innings to get the win. Max also hit 2 doubles and a single to lead the Trojan attack. Alex Spitale, Mike Riola, Kevin Obuck, Jeff Geitner and Brian Williams all had 2 hits apiece

Ryan Prevost and Jeff Geitner stayed hot with the bats while Alex Spitale and Max Denora are lighting up the mound.

Athena 26, Batavia 0 4/25/08

The Modified B baseball team exploded in their home opener with a 26-0 win over Batavia. Alex Spitale pitched a 1 hitter through 4 inning and added 3 hits including a 2 run homerun. Kevin Obuck, Max Denora, Ryan Prevost, Mike Riola and Jeff Gietner added two hits apiece.

Athena 4, Hilton 2 5/09/08

Alex Spitale pitched a complete game and the Trojans won their 5th game by beating Hilton 4-2. Anthony Crawford and Andrew Fox had a pair of hits

Athena 18, Churchville 6 4/29/08

The Modified B baseball team continued their hot hitting by beating Churchville Chili 18-6 Tuesday nite. Max Denora pitched a one hit shutout through four innings. Ryan Prevost, Jeff Geitner, and Kevin Obuck had two hits apiece. The Young Trojans defense was solid nd Joe Alfieri and Kevin Greenauer.
