Head Coach: Jason Bunting

Coach Bunting is in his 11th season as Head Coach for the Athena Trojans. During his tenure, the Trojans have won three Division titles, three Section V Championships, and have made two appearances in the State Finals. A total of nine Division I scholarship players have graduated from Athena over the past nine years.

Pitching Coach: Lou Izzo

Coach Izzo is in his 11th season as the pitching coach at Athena HS. His pitching staff as helped Athena win three Section V titles, as well as three Division Titles. Coach Izzo is in his 35th year of coaching.

Varsity Assistant: Dick Zimmer

JV Coach: Jack McMahon

Married to Liz, two children Nick and Jake. Middle school social studies teacher at Athena for nine years. Coached baseball for three years at Arcadia and have been the JV baseball coach at Athena for six years. I also coach football and spent three seasons at Arcadia and in the fall will be entering my fourth year at Athena coaching at the modified level.

Mod A Coach: Mike Husdan

Michael Husdan is a 1997 graduate of Greece Athena. At Athena, he was a three-sport athlete in baseball, football, and wrestling were he earned Greece Athlete of the Year honors. He later went on to play four years of baseball and football at Ithaca College. Husdan started his coaching career in 2002 as a varsity assistant baseball coach where that team won a Section V championship and advanced to the state championship final four. There after he spent two seasons at the JV level as an assistant coach. Those two years the team had a combined record 39-0. In 2008, Husdan was inducted into the Greece Athena Sports Hall of Fame. Coach Husdan is in his third season coaching the Modified A baseball team with fellow Greece Athena alum Bob Switzer.

Mod A Assistant: Bob Switzer

Coach Switzer graduated from Athena in 1997 and went on to play baseball at MCC. He graduated from the University of Miami, Fl in 2003 and currently teaches Living Environment and Earth Science at Greece Olympia. At Athena he has been an assistant for the varsity and coached Mod A for the last three seasons. In the past, Coach Switzer has coached summer ball for Ferris-Goodrich and assisted Coach Bunting in the NYCBL for two seasons.

Mod B Coach: Bill Fedele

Coach Bill Fedele was a 1977 graduate of Greece Athena H.S. and later went on to play semi professional baseball class A and also played with the Rochester Zeniths fast pitch club at the world level. He has coached freshman baseball at Athena from 1991-1996 and Wrestling from 1993-1996 at the modify level. He is currently in his third season coaching boys modify B baseball. Coach Husdan and Switzer were players for Fedele back in the early.

Mod B Asistant Coach: Zack Osher

I am a 2006 graduate of Greece Athena. I have been a volunteer coach for both the modified B football and baseball team the past two years. Currently I am attending MCC and am majoring in Physical Education. I played baseball at Athena for four years.
